Avi Weisfogel is a dentist unlike any other. This interview of the man himself shows what a genuine, kind, and professional man he is.
He’s a New Jersey man through and through. He was born and raised there and he continues to live there with his whole family. He started right after his dentist residency in an office in Edison and has since expanded to a total of three practices.
These practices are not just regular old dentistries, however. Dr. Avi Weisfogel calls himself a “secondary education enthusiast” and takes 200 hours of secondary education every single year, far above New Jersey’s requirement of 40 hours every other year. He tries to learn everything he can so that he can give his patients the best possible care and the latest treatments.
It’s not just his patients that he cares for though. He also cares about the oral hygiene of impoverished countries. In particular, he was moved by the charity Operation Smile. Operation Smile is a charity that helps children in the Philippines and over 80 other countries have oral surgery to fix cleft palette and other deformities that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford. He believes so much in this charity that he started a Go Fund Me page in the hopes of raising at least $2,000 for this cause he believes in.
Dr. Weisfogel is also a musician. That’s right, between having three patient-centered dentistry practices and doing extensive charity work, he still finds time to let his artistic side out. You can check out his soundcloud yourself if you’re interested.
In brief, Avi Weisfogel is a passionate, caring man who gives 110% to everything he does.
